Periods isn’t shameful thing. It’s not choice rather a need of our complex body. If period is impure so are we. Aren’t we all here just because of this natural phenomenon?
Even after being genz we all are awkward. It’s not because we are ashamed it’s because we are made to feel like we’re impure. At house it’s our moms and aunts who restrict us and outside it’s our male friends who whether knowingly or unknowingly make us feel awkward. Therefore its my humble request to all those gentlemen who read my comment to please normalise this.. it’s not that we feel ashamed it’s because you acts make us feel awkward and I request the women to speak up about this. It’s not bad.. It’s just a natural phenomenon. Periods.
Many women and even girls starting their monarchy are unaware of menstrual hygiene. Even after being aware most of them aren’t that rich to buy them. We are lucky but, what about them? 8 to 10 rs for each pad.. it’s too costly for them.. let’s unite aise our voice for them.. let’s apeal the government for good quality sanitary pads at cheaper rate to avoid the health issues caused due to infections during menses.
