With over 400 Ambassadors spanning 44 countries, the Ambassador Program is a global network of activists ready to break the stigma surrounding menstruation and turn their passion for equity into action.

We believe in uniting people who desire to serve their communities and providing them with the support and tools they need to do so.

Leadership

Whether you have previous experience in menstrual equity or are looking to start now, we need you. The Ambassador Program runs on the drive and dedication of action-oriented individuals willing to participate and show up for the cause.

As you take on projects with your Ambassador Cohort, you’ll be presented with countless opportunities to develop educational resources, organize advocacy campaigns, make new friends, and strengthen your leadership skills.

Growth

The Ambassador Program is defined by a constantly evolving series of projects – thanks to the work of past, present, and future Ambassadors. These projects include developing educational resources, advocating for menstrual health policies, hosting product drives, film screenings, fundraisers and more – all to support the growth and sustainability of the menstrual equity movement.

MAKE AN IMPACT BY BECOMING A PAD PROJECT AMBASSADOR

The Pad Project’s Ambassador Program is a leadership development and advocacy initiative that unites hundreds of volunteer activists who are ready to break the stigma surrounding menstruation and turn their passion for equity into action. In the 2023 – 2024 year of our Ambassador Program, we welcomed a diverse cohort of 400+ Ambassadors between the ages of 12 and 60 from 44 countries! Our Ambassadors are students, educators, environmentalists, artists, and more. Some of them have been life-long menstrual equity advocates, and some are new to the fight, but they all share a common goal to end menstrual poverty and stigma across the globe.

Application Process

The application period for the 2024 – 2025 Ambassador Program will open in Summer 2024! We encourage U.S. and international applicants to apply, but you will need access to WiFi to participate in Zoom meetings. You must be 12 years or older to participate in the program. Estimated Program Dates: August 1, 2024 – May 31, 2025

Once the new ambassadors have been selected, they will be split into teams, each of which will be led by an advisor who has already successfully completed the program. Teams will be divided by time zones and specific interests, such as environmentalism, public health, advocacy, arts, etc.

Each team will have a mandatory virtual orientation and training session, as well as three virtual meetings every month to discuss ongoing projects. Beyond these meetings, ambassadors will be able to meet with their advisors and fellow ambassadors as frequently as they want. Teams will be divided by time zones and specific interests, such as public health, advocacy, arts, and environmentalism.
